Something New for Me
I've been blogging about colorectal cancer for about three years, very heavy stuff, often reviewing medical journal abstracts. But, now I want to write about my life and my attempts to push clutter aside and get at the real gems, the things that give me energy and keep me going amid too much to do and very little strength to do it.
The dogs and I live on Skaneateles Lake and spend a lot of time on the water. The old dog, Jay, still wobbles on very arthritic legs down the steep steps to the lake. The younger one, Spencer, leaps into the water, follows me trying desperately to catch up with the kayak and eat the plastic paddle.
I've taken a new assignment editing the content of the Colorectal Cancer Coalition's website where I will continue my work for colorectal cancer patients, providing information and trying to simplify the medical jargon for them.
With more demands on my time, I've got to get out from under all this clutter, all this unnecessary stuff that needs to be dusted, sorted, stacked, and kept general track of.
I'm using a Blogger template for now, but hope to have the time to give this site a newer look. My to-do list is pretty cluttered too.
